Beyond Christmas

Beyond Christmas 2021

In the spirit of giving our Session has made the difficult decision to give everyone the gift of health, by temporarily suspending all in-person PPC ministries and gatherings on our campus.  Worship will be online beginning the December 26.

The exceptions to the closure, as before, will be the Red Cross Blood Drives and the Community Food Drives.

We made this decision in order to “get ahead of the omicron curve” as infections are on the rise both locally and nationally.  Our first priority is the safety and health of our congregation.  Beyond that it shows love for neighbor by making sure we don’t over-tax our local health care providers.  We know this is not a year ago.  The good news is that God has provided us the means to act more nimbly to whatever the challenges we face.  We are blessed to have a staff and leadership that can adjust quickly to what we can only assume will be a continual health challenge for the foreseeable future.

Might we also encourage you, in the season of giving and getting, to get your third vaccine!  This will go a long way to help us reduce the risk of people getting deathly ill.

May God, give you both strength and endurance, as you are equipped with the Holy Spirit and all the benefits of being God’s children, able to do far more than you can ask or think, because God gives you more than you can ask or think.
