FAQS

What are our services like?

Our services are typically an hour and fifteen minutes, and they blend the old with the new. You will find our worship to be energetic at times and at times quiet and reflective. You will find solid, biblical preaching with application for your life. You will find new songs led by our band along with a few traditional hymns also led by our worship band. You will also find a time of prayer. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of the month. You will find our services to be multi-generational, multi-ethnic and multi-visual.

What about my children?

Children ages newborn through kindergarten have their own childcare for the entire time of our service. Grade school children begin the service in the worship Center and then leave for a specific lesson designed uniquely for them. Junior High and High School students remain in the worship center. Our service is intentionally designed to be multi-generational.

What should I wear?

Wear what you are comfortable in. There is no dress code at Placentia Presbyterian. If you want to wear a suit or a dress, you won’t be alone, although we lean toward casual and relaxed. If you want to wear shorts and flip flops, you also won't be alone. You are welcome to come as you are.

Will you ask me for money?

As our guest, we will not ask you for money! We don't even take an offering in the worship gathering. There are offering boxes in the hallway each week, but that is for our folks and those visitors who feel moved to give. We want you to just be able to enjoy the service.
